The Advanced can't replace the Bomber - it can only carry one missile.

The Advanced, right now, is an expensive (and durable), Tie Fighter. If it had the same dial, but added a forward 1, we might not even be having this discussion (yeah we would...). Thus far, I find that sticking to the idea that it is an IMPROVED Tie Fighter brings us to the quickest solution. The free FCS seems to be a solution to the Advanced.
