Imperial League List

By Vespid, in X-Wing

Hello all. My LGS is starting a league in the near future. Our lists are to be 100 points with only 1 named pilot. I like the new interceptors and was tinkering with this list:

Carnor Jax- Royal Guard Tie, Push the Limit, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

Royal Guard Pilot- Royal Guard Tie, Push the Limit, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

Royal Guard Pilot- Royal Guard Tie, Push the Limit, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

It comes in at exactly 100 points. I used to fly the three amigos so am familiar with interceptor tactics. Do you all think this is viable? If not, how can I make it better? I have thought about switching one of the modifications for stealth device. If it looks good, any specific tactics you might see as working well?

Thanks for any help you give.

Definitely risky, but could do well! I am afraid to fly only 3 interceptors, but that's just me. Spending the points for double Modifications makes each of them super pricey. I have tried Carnor and 2 RGPs all with PtL and a naked shuttle. Due to my arc dodging, they were forced to focus the shuttle out and then scatter, but they eventually got some good licks in and beat me.

Yeah best of luck, but it is awful risky. But if you beat falcons with that it would be amazing

Change hull into stealth, probably would save your butt more often, especially when used with focus

The hull and shield will do the job of the device and maybe more in certain circumstances. Just tuck your neck on the first pass , after that you know the drill. Keep out of the firing arc and make those hard two turns and boost to their six! Not many players fly INTs well , make us proud. I love the look on people's face when they play a good interceptor player , mainly an Elite 3 int player. It's a combination of worry and confusion. Then there's the guy that didn't realize you could push Turr after his free action lol always great.

And one other thing. Kill that rebel scum!

Seems fun, what is the objective to the only one named pilot rule?

I like it. Now go show them who's boss of the F*$&in sky.

Those are some fragile baskets for the eggs they're holding.

I'd strongly suggest stripping some upgrades off to purchase a 4th Interceptor.

Hell, you can go with 5 and keep your named pilot if you plan it well.
