What book is this in?! It's COOL!
Your speculations on the walking machine-city of Ambulon
It's in the corebook, in the Calixis chapter, under Scintillia, not a lot of information is given though
Although upper class areas capable of freezing people to death do sound fun ![]()

Yup, the core book dose have some nice nuggets tucked away... though I think you've gotten part of Tarsus mixed up with Ambulon ;-)

So I do ^^
If you're a fan of the concept of Ambulon, I'd definitely recommend the Mortal Engines books (Hungry city chronicles in the US).
Hell, I'd recommend them anyway. They are some fantastic books.
I guess everyone's noticed the pun in Ambulon's name though?
Is it Amble-on?
Hope so, that'd make me feelc lever after spending an hour failing to do a Rubiks Cube :@
The fact that Ambulon is ambulatory?
And what Cyclocius said.

Another Ambulon story comes to mind.
A few months ago I ran a campaign where a rogue faction of tech-priests attempted to make a cogitation engine so powerful it could contain the mind of the Omnissiah. Phase two of their Heresy was going to involve building/finding a body worthy of such a mind. Ambulon might be a good place to install such a thing.
it could be the squats that made it!
