Yesterday I use this sorprise, I use focus in Slave 1 with Kath Scarlet like pilot, I have a Soontir Fel at range 1, he felt sure because I don't use target lock, but my ship has Deadeye, Recon Specialist and Advance Proton Torpedoes, so by Deadeye I use the focus instead the Target Lock, and fire the APT, with the RS, I replace the Focus, and use it again to get 3 hits and 2 Critical hits, the result, bye Soontir, in one round, greettings

I'm detecting a faint trace of fishyness here.

You don't "replace" tokens with Recon Specialist.... When you take a focus action with a Recon Sp. in your crew, you get 2 tokens instead of 1. That's all.

What you described ended "matching" the correct rules after all (sort of)... But you may actually confuse your opponent by having a single focus token on your ship, just to "replace it" later with another when the first one is expended. Recon specialist doesn't work that way.

No arguing that point....just you may want to learn how Recon Specialist works. It generates a second Focus token when you do a Focus action. It doen't replace a spent one. Yes Deadeye with a ordnance and RS is a nice combo when conveyed correctly.

It does not generate a new focus. When you perform the Focus action in the Perform Action step, Recon Specialist gives you 2 tokens.
