I was wondering, which of the following expansions should I get first (or in other words is better):

> Labyrinth of Ruin

> Shadow of Nerekhall

Nobody knows whether shadow will be better than labyrinth, shadow of nerekhall isn't out yet.

I agree that an objective answer to that question is impossible to give right now.

Then again, perhaps an objective answer to that question is always impossible. What qualifies an expansion as "better" than another?

I don't own LoR yet, and I'm definitely planning to pick up Shadows asap. For me, the potential fluff in Shadows is just too tempting - returning to the original Free Cities and all.

I very much like Labyrinth of Ruin. I find it far superior to The Shadow Rune. That said, I can't tell you how good or bad SoN is going to be.

Get Labyrinth of Ruin first because it's more likely to run out of stock at places sooner than Shadows of Nerekhall, and then you'll have to wait for a reprint.
