Hey everyone, my local venue is finally going to be hosting tournaments soon and I'm looking forward to playing. However I have very little experience with squad building and have a smaller collection to choose from. I'd like to play rebels but only have the following stuff to choose from: Core Set x2, X-wing expansion x1, B-wing x1, and A-wing x1.

I came up with this for a first build and was wondering if it would be OK to fly. I'm not looking to win, but to finally get to play some games.

That can certainly work.

The truth is a combination of any four of your five rebel fighters could work although the pilots and upgrades will vary. You could look at a Green Squadron Pilot with PtL as a 22 point option to give you a speedy flank. May also want to consider Biggs although with a balanced squad he may not be as useful.

Hadn't thought about Green Squadron. I was trying to keep it simple for a first tournament so I don't lose track of upgrades and crazy pilot abilities.
