So, we're playing the Trollfens mini-campaign. The heroes win the first encounter and recieve the Workman's Ring and Source of Sickness advanced quest. SoS says this card is treated as an available quest. Does this mean that the players could go there as their next quest? If so, would the players go thru that quest, then finish the rest of the Act I quests? If so, how would the quest end once they finisht eh rest of the Act I quests? Would they just go thru the remaining Act II quest (Spreading Affliction)? The rewards on the back of the card don't make much sense, seeing as how it's the last quest of the mini-campaign ("For the remainder of the campaign, the OL may choose plague worms as one of his open groups...").

I would assume that the advanced quest is only used when playing the quests as rumours, not for the mini campaign.

In the mini-campaign, the advanced quest card is not used, rather the finale is one of the two, determined by who won more than half of the initial 3 quests. If the overlord won 2/3 or 3/3, then you play Spreading Affliction. If the Heroes won 2/3 or 3/3, then you play Source of Sickness.

At least, that's how it is as I recall, I'll double check later.

Yeah, the rules don't say anything about it, but it just makes sense to ignore the part that says "X Quest becomes available to play"
