This is not a plug for a website, but I saw these really cool looking gaming tables at Megacon this weekend, by a company called Geek Chic. They have amazing looking hand-made custom gaming tables, and the stuff they already have is spectacular. The downside is they are WICKED expensive, but if you've got 3-12 Grand to blow, they are a pretty way to blow it! I got a demo from them when I was at megacon, it's part of my Megacon 2014 video on my channel... it coudl be very cool for X-Wing or any other tabletop game.

I'm not that convinced that reaching down wouldn't become annoying, I'm more than pleased with my own kitchen table .

With the tools and enough wood you could make one that is comparable.. I have been thinking about making a table.. got the tools and a ton of wood in the basement... design would be essential...
