I have been using stand ups, the A-frame paper mini's for several years. I like them a little better than tokens and they are definitely cheaper than miniatures.

They're decent enough, to be sure, but I know a few artists were less than thrilled to find their work had been lifted and used/modified without the guy at least having the decency to ask first, or even to at least provide a source for where the original image came from in the first place.

I've spotted some bits amongst his collection where I know the artist in question does not like their work used in something outside their control, as they politely explained to me when I asked permission to use one of their pieces for a GSA Heroes on Demand article.

Bonus points for Sterling Archer in there at the end.
