Five (soon to be six) books out.
Age of Rebellion on the way.
Not to mention all the great art in that card game you're doing.
We've asked, and you've never answered...
FFG, ain't it high time we got some Star Wars RPG avatars up in here?!?

For real!
Whatever you do, do not google Gand when looking for Gand pictures to use for your character sheet.

Why do I always read "do not google" as "google immediately"? ![]()
I have no idea why, but I did it too.
Gand... Jizz... Why do I keep expecting the next lightsaber form to actually be Cantonese for "glorious butt sound."
I like big butts and I can not lie?

You obviously stopped scrolling at the right time....
I did a GIS for "Twi'lek" and was quite pleased with the results. #rule34

Christ now I have to do it again!
Bah! I'm happy with my Penguin!
That said, I've always wondered why no custom avatars. . . .
For real!

Hahahahaha, that's almost like omg, don't smell that.............
Gasp.... I just realized I have no Avatar!
Um, about every other forum out there can use custom avatars... Why not this one? I just don't want EotE avatars, I want to use my own. Come on FFG, it can not that be that hard or expensive to be able to do this. Even WotC allowed us to use custom ones...GASP!
Yeah, I wouldn't mind either a broader selection of Star Wars avatars, or the ability to use a custom one. As for custom ones, it'd be easy enough to set size limits on their part.
I think keeping the avatars "FFG-esque" is a good self-promotion technique: I mean, I didn't know about their Blood Bowl (?) game until I saw the nifty avatars.
**** this free-use service. It's just not good enough.

My FLGS has one of those advertisement screens on a loop that cycles through various FFG products. I'm not going to lie, Blood Bowl looks pretty cool.
I can see that FFG might not be able to offer likenesses of the film actors as avatars, but certainly there's plenty of art of troopers, aliens, and general galactic citizens they could offer up. I want my Tusken Raider!

I agree. Not sure what avatar I'd like, but I'd like the choice. Probably a Wookie or Mon Calamari.
In fact, I'm going to look at the choices as I'm not happy with my current look.

I loved the old Blood Bowl mini game. Not big on card games.

Well, they've got plenty of artwork to draw from in regards to their CCG, and they've managed to avoid too many instances of "actor's face from the movies" in the RPG artwork. Heck, there's a number of unique character faces from just the core rulebook for each of the careers (and specs from the sourcebooks).
With custom avatars comes policing of custom avatars.
I wonder if it is a license thing or something? Seems odd they don't have them.
