He needs a target lock in R1 to launch, then either be stressed or focussed. This seems like it would be eaiser to accomplish than the normal TL + Focus for any other ship that doesn't have PTL.

Since you won't need PTL anymore, we can look at other EPTs to generate stress.

Only other move would be Advanced Sensors to TL, then K Turn. Which COULD be cool enough to work.

I can't think of another EPT to generate stress as good as PTL, however. So any pilot with an EPT slot is just as good.

In all seriousness, I love how all the new stuff is shaking up the game. Combine Keyan, APT, Opportunist, and Jan Ors (she might even be able to get the enemy to drop their token ahead of time) and all of a sudden you got firepower 7!

Kath or Boba with Recon Specialist and Deadeye works pretty well, don't have to get stress either from using ptl like most others.

I would Have to say Farlander is epic but the Baron or Turr still got the mantel for best star fighter pilot.

He has one key issue I beleve. He must have something to shoot at to shed his stress or he will have to do a green manuver to get rid of it. Interceptors and prob Defenders are real good at staying out of firing arcs in this game. Also the SFS prototype from Imperial aces can out manuver him if by the base that makes all of its manuvers stress free.

I still love the fact in that mission if you have a prototype TIE Interceptor you can end up with it having seven attack dice =]

There are plenty of inherent red moves on the B-Wing dial for Farlander to set this attack up in 1 turn if he has Adv. Sensors. Target Lock then select a red maneuver, (2K will be awesome) then fire away.

That leaves your EPT slot for something else.

Can't wait to drop Nien Nunb in his passenger seat. Makes the B-wing as fast as an X-wing with no penalty, and then you can still get good use of a stressful EPT.
