Follow Up Adventure to Sa Nalaor!

By Lancer999, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Ok...since this expansion came out, I am assuming that people have conquered said adventure. And now you want to go back and get the treasure (Spoiler alert!)

Has anyone done this adventure yet and has put it on the web (And it must be Good!)

That way all of us can partake in its goodness??!!! :)

Sadly, not yet. My son was making plans, was going to hire a guy who owned a C-90 + crew, but that campaign is now on hold while my son's in the Air Force...

Great to hear your son is in the USAF!! Did he just join up? I am retired USAF myself. Everyone in my group is active duty AF as well, all from around Ramstein AB Germany.

Sorry to hijack your thread.

No our group has not went back to examine it. They might, but after the Imps showed up...

I am positive my group will be returning, but I was planning to wing it using existing material. I'm going to have them invest in some very heavy equipment to be able to access any sort of treasure, so they will likely only come out slightly ahead of where they started.

My crew won't go after the treasure. There is a ton of imperial activity since our assassin killed the ISB agent and the other scouts informed the higher chain of command. Tye empire is enjoying digging up the creds and have sent the images of our assassin over the holonet... Big trouble brewing for her!

Actually Canadian AF, but yeah, in the middle of basic training right now.

In the game we were just touching on how he was going to be able to trust a guy who had a C-90 and a crew...to which I responded with an evil grin. But I think what I was planning was a bigger space battle, maybe the C-90 and my son's tricked out Firespray and maybe some others, against something like an Imperial Nebulon-B. If they got through that and landed, my plan was to pick off the C-90 crew with loose and feral Nexus and other threats, so that by the time they could actually take off they'd be able to pack their Firespray, but that would be about it. I'd probably bring another threat in just to drive them off more permanently, because giving PCs millions of credits with no consequences is just...wrong :)

When I was still active duty USAF, (I'm AFROTC/inactive reserve now) I had the opportunity to work with some RCAF helicopter guys in Kandahar. They would fly escort for us in their CH-146's while we did CASEVAC missions. They were some awesome dudes.

On topic: I would expect the planet to be interdicted by Imperials, or blockaded at the very least while the Imperials recovered anything of value.

I've been toying around with crafting up an adventure along these lines. I agree with Yoshiyahu--thee Imp will definitely be in the Cholganna System. I'm thinking a full exploration/recovery detachment.

Imperial Presence

  • Nebulon-B class Frigate (in orbit)
  • 1 TIE/LN Starfighter Squadron (stationed on the frigate)
  • 2 Deep Dark-class Scout Vessels (one on the frigate, the other dirt side)
  • 1 Small Imperial Encampment (2 lances of scout troopers, 1 squad of stormtroopers, 1 squad Army personnel, 4 ISB agents)
  • 1 Small Imperial Recon Station (3 Army personnel)

That should make things interesting...

Rather than returning to Cholganna, you might be able to set up a "train robbery" scenario where the PCs attempt to steal "the good bits" from the Star Galleon that's carrying the salvage/treasure from Cholganna to wherever the Imperials plan to take it. It's a follow-up adventure but it'll feel "new" compared to goingo down to Cholganna again.

Now that's a novel idea!

My group barely got out of there in the first place. Having an Imp contingent there will be heinous. Not to mention I dont care how badass you are, you are not going to shoot down a Frigate w/ a YT-1300.

Exactly! That's what sparks the creativity! ;) :D

No, but if your team fakes getting captured by one they might just have a shot at taking one over. Thank goodness the rebels showed up to put a stop to that madness.
