Avrel + Test Pilot + Opportunist + Chaardan Refit
Aim for those higher PS large ships and try to block them, and deny them their focus token. Then benefit from Opportunist to hit them with 4 dice in RB1 all the while being safe from their return fire.
PS6 is a little high, and its too bad you couldnt add Enhanced Scopes, or he would be AMAZING.
In the end, an offensive blocker for 25 points isnt a bad deal.

For arvel in particular he could benefit a lot from the new "treat your pilot skill as 0" card

Arvel would benefit from a Navigator or Boba like ability so they can try to initiate contact more reliably. Other than that, not a lot of use for him.
The three things that would make Arvel a much superior pilot (without changing rules or what his card actually is):
Enhanced Scopes
Advanced Sensors
Daredevil
He can now equip DD due to the Test Pilot card. I'm still betting on an unique missile -> sensor slot as the unrevealed card, which would allow him to take EnhS or AdvS.
With EnhS, he obviously moves before everyone, allowing him to get his action and be right in the away and let people come to him.
With AdvS, he can see where people are, and choose to boost (or BR/DD since he can take an EPT now) if needed to make his maneuver collide. And if he doesn't need to do that to make the maneuver collide, then he can take a F/TL so he doesn't lose his action when he collides.
expert handling wouldnt be bad with another ship in your Squadron taking Intel agent you can see where a high skill pilot is going and barrell roll/Boost arvel into the way.
It works deadly effect with the falcon, But granted thats a monster of a base.
Arvel + Daredevil works really well, 'cause you CAN use that to collide.

I would LOVE for the unspoiled missile card to be another refit style card that swapped missiles for systems but I doubt it. Not onlyis that a major hide, I don't think they've ever done that before. It's always been a duplicate card. Plus it would seem to make the Rebel Aces pack all about the A-wing practically? Though three missiles would seem a lot... [hopes furitively]

Another way to use Arvel is in concert with Ion Weapons - If you can hit something with an Ion canon and have it crash into arvel....

I'm doubtful. Every other time there's been a facedown card in the card fan like that it's been another copy of the card it is on top of. Besides, I want a 3rd refit card.
