Here's a photo of one of my repaints, hopefully I'll host my x wings once Red 5 is done.

Quick write up:

Basecoat halffords grey primer ( enough to mute colours)

Two washes of watered down Army Painter Dark Tone

Light panels painted Vallejo Storm wall grey

Red panels painted GW Red Gore

Light panels edge highlighted pure white

Very nice. I'm afraid to do anything more complicated than adding a little engine glow.

.......my plan was to keep it looking "retail". Once I put in next to Boba's Slave1 I could see that a further wash would take it too far.
