I have to say having just got into this I'm really enjoying the multiple possibilities of things to do, whether it be a full blown mission style game with big or small battles.
Or and this is the thing that really gets me thinking is small skirmish style battles or simple one on ones for a quick short blast. Looking forward to experimenting beyond the obvious Vader vs Luke Fett vs Solo etc.
This game just blows me away!
I think what you mean to say is everything about this game is great.
The visual factor with nice ship models and bright colors, luck-strategy ratio from die rolls and maneuvering, and quickness and ease of play all blend very nicely here.
I also like how you can come up with some crazy ship builds (Hypermobile B-Wing with Advanced Sensors, Push the Limit and Engine Upgrade, Rabbit style Millenium Falcon with Expert Handling and Engine Upgrade) to turn the game into a battle of maneuvering.
I have yet to figure out how to get in behind and stay there, but I'm learning.
Edited by PygonFFG has a stellar hit on its hands with this game. I've had a lot of success introducing this game to non board gamers. The Star Wars theme bleeds through to almost anyone. It will be interesting to see how this game expands as the new films will undoubtedly bring new ships and pilots to the game, as well as fans.
