I'm torn between three list for the upcoming tournament this weekend. What would you fly?

Option one:

Howlrunner + Stealth Device

Mauler Mithel

Backstabber

Dark Curse

Winged Gundark

Night Beast

Option two:

Omicron Group Pilot + Fire Control System + Gunner

Omicron Group Pilot + Vader

Saber Squadron Pilot + Push the Limit

Saber Squadron Pilot + Push the Limit

Option three:

Blue Squadron Pilot + Advance Sensors

Blue Squadron Pilot + Advance Sensors

Blue Squadron Pilot + Advance Sensors

Blue Squadron Pilot + Advance Sensors

I find all of them fun. If I could get this darn cloning machine to work, I'd fly all 3 this weekend...

I would go with the first list as long as your good with swarms (in the case you were not i would go with the blues).

But i would change Winged Gunmark for 1 of 2 things

Obisian, put Determination on Howl and have 99 point for incitive

Acadamy Pilot trade for Howl PTL (for focus evade)

List one for sure. I refuse to acknowledge list three exists because I hate the rebels

I'd say I'm ok with the swarms. Six is a little easier then 7 or 8. The second list has me looking over at these glorious Red Interceptors....I've even painted blood stripes on one of my shuttles. The only concern I have for the shuttle list is the lack of engine upgrades to help turn those bastards around.

Yea, I think without EU on your shooty shuttle your goose would be cooked. Unless you used the doom shuttle as a blocker but then it would get shot at a lot and not get to be as doom-y as you might like.

I think I would try to head nose in on their fleet with the shuttles and bring the interceptors in from the side. I would have two options depending what they would do. I could hit the breaks on the shuttle causing a pile up and let the interceptors get a strafing pass of fire. with the interceptors poised to the flank, I could bring them just behind the shuttles for the K-turn attack to the passing shuttles. No one would want to give up position to the interceptors and could allow the shuttles to get back around. Even as I try to justify the imperial lists I hear old ben in my head " let go of your feeling and use the force".

I actually played exactly the same list as your first list at the local Store Championship. Unfortunately, I didn't perform great. Came in 6th out of 16. However, I definitely noticed some strengths in the list, and I definitely made a lot of mistakes. The biggest weaknesses were against Han Shoots first, and a 4 B-wing list with Adv Sensors, the last list in your post. So, both lists are quite strong. You just have to be on top of your maneuvers with each of them.

Another thing that is super important in tournaments, especially if your playing 4+ ship lists: ASTEROID PLACEMENT! Your opponent WILL try to make it difficult for you and easy for himself. You must do the same with your three asteroids.

i wouldnt play a NON-vader shuttle without engine upgrade. Shuttle lists take patience and loads of practice to master. Just saying.
