Wow, so we got a bomb sell last night, well not a bombshell, most knew Rebel Aces were coming, just not when. They say that is will be available 3rd Quarter, so, we will see. So, FYI, if it follows the same path as the Imp Aces, we may have it before Christmas. The FFG article looks like it is the A-Wing side of the Rebel Aces, with the B-Wing article coming soon.
So, let’s take a look at this new expansion, at least what we know… it comes with an escape pod!! For a mission,

A-Wing
The Article Spoiled one of the names Pilots, PS7 Jake Farrell. 24pts. Pilot Ability: “After you perform a focus action or are assigned a focus token, you may perform a free boost or barrel roll action.”Team Jake up with Garven or Kyle, boom, possible 3 actions, Jake takes a TL,Get a focus from team, takes a BR or Boost. Still has a lack of fire power with2 attack, but with a focus TL, it helps a lot.
A-Wing Upgrades
Chardaan Refit: “A-Wing Only. This care has a negative squad point cost.” -2
This is first, negative squad pts. You can now run 6 A-Wings,or 5 with PTL. Those are going to be tough to kill!
Prototype Veteran: “A-Wing Only. Title. Your upgrade bargains 1 (EPT) upgrade icon. You cannot equip 2 of the same (EPT) upgrade cards.You cannot equip this care if your pilot skill value is “1” or lower.” 0pt
Hmmm, 2 EPTs on one A-Wing? PTL and Squad Leader? PTL and Expose? PTL and any other EPT? This will make them a lot more survivable and viable.
Enhanced Scopes: “During the activation phase, treat yourpilot skill value as “0”. 1pt
Well, Now you can move first and Shoot first, or move first and block. May not see it a lot, but you will see it.
B-Wing
We only really got 1 spoiled for the B-Wing, you can use Enhanced Scopes on the B-Wing, but I see more on other ships.

Pilot Ability: When attacking, you may remove 1 stress token to change all of your (Focus) results to (Hit) results.
Wow, this guy will love PTL, and love attacking any ship with Rebel Captive! I think we will see him a lot, I can see him replacing Wedge ina few builds. With him, it will come down to stress management, don’t get more then2 on him in one turn and you are good.
