Advanced scopes

could somebody explain how its supposed to work? thanks..lol

I think this will give your 9PS pilot the chance to move first... then fire first...

Exactly.

With Enhanced Scopes, you move when everyone's position is known, and theoretically take your action uninterrupted, and then fire when you normally would.

I think of it as a straight downgrade of Advanced Sensors, but then, what isn't? This is still VERY powerful..

I see this as a mixed blessing, I know some peopke like having the high PS pilots move first, but to me that is counter intuitive, I like my high PS moving last. I just don't know... I don't play rebels too much, so this one has limited use.. not sure how viable it would be on a shuttle, and on the phantom?? It might have some use...

I don't much see the use either. Mainly it seems to be to make sure you don't get blocked and loose your action, but with ships that boost an roll, I would much rather move last so I can see where everyone ends up and position myself well.

It depends entirely on your list and the strategy you use for said list. It certainly shouldn't be an auto-include but will definitely see use and I imagine will be found to be plenty powerful with the right ship or combo.

Pair it with an Intelligence Agent, anywhere in your squad.

True. Just occurred to me, using it on the big ships for blocking purposes. Letting Lando, Han, Chewie, Boba or Kath move first, get their action and then clog the enemy flight paths could be pretty good.

Basically, this is an answer to "This pilot's skill is too high for their ability to be useful" kind of thing, but only for B-Wings and Lambdas (soon E-Wings and Phantoms as well).

Another interesting thing is it's mandatory. The card lacks the " may" qualifier, so you must always use its effect. You can't choose to activate it contextually.

Anti Pursuit Lasers. On a Shuttle.

Omg yes. And I forget the name, but that crew that lets you check an enemies dial prior to moving

Intelligence Agent, which I already suggested, natch! Let's add a Navigator, for lulz!

Makes Arvel a bit more dangerous.

My bad, just scrolled to the bottom and say what the guy above me said :P

This will be fun. Certainly looking forward to this more than ImpAces, being a rebel player and all. Still no Y-wing bombs, though :/

would have preferred the wording "may treat..." but beggars can't be choosers, still looking forward to this on the Shuttles and the soon to come E-Wings

I am thinking... Carnor Jax

Carnor Jax can't use this upgrade.. so, No.. not him

This upgrade, so far, only works on B wings and the Shuttle.

awwww :(

Aww crap, I didn't see the systems upgrade icon... my bad! dooh!

Arvel?? I missed something??

Ts there now a Missile Upgrade that provides a Droid Upgrade, that provides a System Upgrade to let Arvel move first?

We might see that happening? LOL

You bet.

Who can use it? Well, at the moment the shuttle and the B-Wing.

A pinball space cow will like this one - anti-pursuit lasers, etc - because it lets you get into position first. This is quite good as all the named shuttle pilots have pretty high pilot skill.

I'm not sure I see a B-wing using it much. If I had to guess, the ship I'd really like to fit it to would be the bomber - being able to dump proximity mines before people move, etc. Of course, bombs are (at the moment) an Imperial exclusive weapon, just as turrets are rebel exclusive.

Shuttles will be fine. Ever where. Even with the aft twin laser that works like an electro-fence.
