Rebel Aces!!

By CrookedWookie, in X-Wing

The A-Wing title is value 0. The Cardaan Refit is an "A-Wing Only" Missile upgrade

The costs for them are as follows - Chardaan Refit - -2 points - A-wing (small base)

Slave 1 - 0 points - Firespray (large base)

Moldy Crow - 3 points - HWK-290 (small base)

ST-321 - 3 points - Lambda Shuttle (large base)

Millenium Falcon - 3 points - YT-1300 (large base)

Dodonna's Pride - 4 points - CR-90 Corvette (Capital base)

Royal Guard TIE - 0 points

A-Wing Test Pilot - 0 Points

Chardaan is not a title. It's a missile.

Edit: The falcon title costs 1 point. Not 3.

Oops. Missed those.. still I would imagine that any title that grants a crew slot would cost a fair bit.

That.. Poor horse.. Who would beat him so mercilessly?!

Someone should put him down..

HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!

lets just look at it like this.......................

and IMO i like new content, that way you see different builds and not playing the same lists over and over and over.........

Shouldn't the horse already be put down, as per the saying?

Here's why all of this mindless ranting is entirely pointless because none of us know the full story of what is being planned.

There's 6 yet-to-be-announced products in between FFG product SWX22 and SWX29.

Anyone think FCS + Weapons engineer ought to be pretty good on a B-wing?

I say: SWX23 will be a smallish Imperial capital ship with a resculpt of the TIE Advanced (it'll be the TIE Avenger) and a bunch of TIE Advanced pilots and upgrades.

SWX24 will be a large Imperial capital ship on its own.

SWX25 through 28 are Wave 5, which FFG already has concepted out. I predict we'll finally get our Shadows of the Empire wave — a YT-2400, a StarViper, the IG-2000 and ... something else. The R-41 Starchaser, I guess.

Hounds Tooth over IG-2000....though both would be preferred. Give us the Bounty Hunter Guild as the 3rd faction. ;)

I would guess Punishing One over Hounds Tooth. We know two pilots, Dengar and Manaroo, and it's 20m long instead of 62m, so much closer to a medium base, Hound's Tooth is almost twice the lenght of the Falcon. Also, Dengar hates Solo and worked with Fett so, it would fit with the fact that with already have Boba and Han. Think about the thematics battle!

Maybe a chance for a Dengar crew card and a possible Fett crew card.. that would be cool

Boba Fett: After performing an attack that hits, you may discard this card to remove the defender from play (Disintegrations were his speciality).

Yeah, but in X-wing minis, Fett is working for the Empire: "No disintegrations!"

also outside of Howlrunner and Kath Scarlett, " He's no good to [him] dead."

Ahahah! Had the exact same quote in mind and wondered how to use it. Well played sir!

I'm also thinking that a FCS + HLC + Merc Co-pilot would be a good sniper.

Bossk is more recognizable than Dengar. The only Taliban in the galaxy gets fairly ignored.

Maybe, but the Hound's tooth would be nearly as long as the rebel transport miniature so I don't see it geting into a wave release. Maybe on its own though.... as the ship to start the third faction!... One can only dream....

Not sure why everyoe is so radical about ship sizes. Hounds Tooth the size of the falcon would be fine as it's a medium sized ship.

Because they like some degree of immersion and consistency with source material.

It is not a medium sized ship, as stated it's near in size to the Medium Transport, not the other medium ships.

Scale is an extremely high priority to FFG. It took them much longer to design capital ships than they intended, because they didn't want to have to sacrifice scale accuracy. We also likely will never see a star destroyer, because even at the scale of the Tantive IV, it would be about 7 feet long. They have said the scales for the current fighters (1/270) and capital ships (approx. 1/500) will be the scales that the game will indefinitely continue to be produced.
