How long do tournaments normally last time wise?

8 players = 4 hours??? etc..

Assuming 75-minute rounds are used, 8 players = 3 rounds = about 3.75-4.5 hours. A tournament with 7-16 players is 5-6 hours.

Sounds about right, though plan for more time. Mine was the exception I think, but I was in the FFG building for 11 hours.

I think we started with 30 players in Minneapolis.

Make sure you bring some water and snacks because it will be a long day no matter how many people are playing. My store championship was 12 people, and it was 8 hours from start to finish.
