It's here, it's here!
Details. On a scale of 10-11 how amazing is it?
As good as we expected or better!
As in you have actually been able to buy a copy and have it in hand?
Time to hit up my local store.

Based on the last few books, it would appear that FFG is attempting to schedule their EotE releases to fall on the last Thursday/Friday of each month. I fully expect mine to be in my hands by the end of the week (from my FLGS), unless the store owner can't get the order in until it's too late. Then I just sulk for an extra couple of days.

Yep, I have it in hand but I am apparently special.
Still...not...on....Amazon. My medical insurance provider just handed me $75 in Amazon gift cards for doing a yearly health assessment so I really shouldn't buy it elsewhere. If it doesn't pop up on Amazon soon I may have to go back to the insurance website and update my sitting blood pressure score.
It finally popped up on Amazon. Release date March 31st.

Just ordered it tonight! Boom!

Thanks for the heads-up. Since there is no discount on the product via Amazon (or, rather, via the company selling the product on Amazon), I'll just head to my FLGS and pick it up.
I did, however, find some great deals on X-Wing minis when I checked on JoY, though. So ... I've got some new toys coming soon, including my favorite fighter from my time in SWG: the Royal Guard TIE Interceptor.
For some reason Amazon.com won't send out the books to Europe as they are labelled as games or something instead of books and Amazon.co.uk is very very late with FFG products which leaves the SFBFIAAMNSLGS (Somewhat Friendly But Friendly In An Awckward Manner Not So Local Game Store)...
So far I have had to travel two cities north for every release.
Hi all,
Amazon.co.uk says 11/4 @ £19.99 inc p&p.
Simon
Yeah, that's what they said for all books in the past as well. They kept moving up the delivery date though...
My **** insurance company Amazon gift cards haven't arrived in the mail yet. You guys better not buy them all up before I get a chance. :0 I almost ordered from CoolStuff, but I will wait a bit longer to avoid the, "You bought these without using your free Amazon cards?", questions from the wife. I buy lots of RPG books, and tend to spread them about our house to make it not so obvious, not displayed all on one bookshelf. I like to think my wife hasn't noticed but I have a feeling she is well aware of my sickness. I'm all prepared for the counter-argument though. If she ever brings up my over-indulgence in RPGs, I'm just going to walk over to her closet, open the door, and point to her shoe collection.
Instant win. Trust me.

You can be right, or you can be happy. I guess you'll have plenty of time to read books while you're sleeping on the couch!
what sorcery do you preform themensch I demand to know where you order your books
Store near me got their's in yesterday - in the past they tended to get the book no more than 2 days before places online and other game shops in the area got their's. Shouldn't be long now.
Going to start ordering from other places in the future. See if I can't eventually stumble onto who themensch uses.
Alliance lists their official release date as 26Mar2014, so it should be on shelves anywhere they stock sometime later today (or tomorrow if the shipment is late).

My apologies, but I cannot share this information because it could get the retailer in trouble for violating the street date.
I will give you guys the same hints I've given all along: the retailer came up in the first page on google when I searched for Dangerous Covenants in the shopping section.
Their Star Wars FFG products have been in stock and shipping around a week before anyone else, and is most likely where themensch has been getting his books.

Excellent try! (of course I wouldn't tell you if you were right, though!)
Edited by themenschWell, I'll definitely give them a try next time. Miniature Market still doesn't have their stock in.

That's not entirely surprising. The "street date" isn't until Friday.
Got my email from MM stating that it has shipped. Now the other wave of waiting.
