X-Wing in Halifax, NS?

Happy Monday, everyone! I've stumbled across X-Wing recently and thought "that looks fun" - I'm just curious if there's an existing community here in the HRM area? I'm pretty sure there's at least one place that has a Fantasy Flight night on Thursdays - my problem is that any night during the week is a no-go for me. I have a four-year-old and my wife isn't home till nine at night from work - I already have a Wednesday night Warmachine night I struggle to find a sitter for regularly.

I think the game looks fun - I'm just leery of investing in another game I'll never get to play! Hopefully, some folks on here will prove me wrong...?

Hey there! Just noticed this post!

There's a small community here; a couple of us play on Thursdays at The Board Room (is this the location you were referring to?), but that night is also when players meet for Netrunner and Game of Thrones, so it hasn't been too X-Wing focused at this point. However, the Board Room has a Star Wars LCG/X-Wing league starting up on, I believe, April 27 (a Sunday) at 11am because a lot of players who would like to get involved haven't been able to make Thursday nights regularly.

Should also mention that the Store Championships are being held today (hopefully you already knew about this).

Most of this info is, or will be available on their Facebook page (I believe), but there's also a local FB group for local Star Wars LCG/X-Wing players to organize meetups:

Well, super good on me noticing this reply, like, three months after the fact.

Yeah - last time I was at The Board Room the guy working there mentioned the Sunday morning thing, but I haven't been able to make it out yet. What time is this going down? Is it still a thing?
