A Friend in need.

As the title says its not me that's gunna be using this but he didn't really know how to shoe horn in a lambda. So I went to work thinking of a way to help.

This is what I came up with:

Col. Jendon

+ FCS

+ Engine upgrade

Howlrunner

+ swarm tactics

4x

Academy pilots

Would it work?

Could be better, but it would work.

Could you please elaborate? I don't own or have ever used a lambda so my idea to help is just that. Any help that can be passed on would be very much welcomed

Other great cards with this build:

Weapons Engineer (When you gain your TL from FCS, you can gain one on another ship as well)

ST-321 (Start the game with Target Locks already passing out to your allies)

Gunner (With FCS, the second attack is ALWAYS Target-Locked, giving you HSF-levels of damage).

You could theoretically equip all of them by sacrificing a single Academy Pilot, but I'd prefer picking a few and using the remainder to upgrade another Tie.

Thanks

Turn the shuttle into a suicide vader shuttle IMO - save points

Does your friend live in a hole, and y'all converse via carrier pidgins?

I'm sure he has access to the internet, why not invite him to join the community here and ask these questions himself?

I have. Multiple times but he's a bit shy.

First of all, has he flown other big ships like the Firespray or the YT-1300? If he has, does he still crash into asteroids with them regularly? If he hasn't flown big ships, or is still struggling with them, then I wouldn't touch the Lambda.

From experience, my first two attempts to fly the Lambda it never got to shoot once because I was out of position or had landed on an asteroid. Given your limited engagement options with the lambda, you can't afford to be missing out when you do have something lined up.

I just tested a similar build earlier I like to call "Killer Bees". It's got the popular "Buzzsaw" Shuttle and a mini "Swarm", hence the name.

Omicron Group Pilot (21)

+ Gunner (5)

+ Engine Upgrade (4)

+ Fire Control System (2)

Howlrunner (18)

+ Swarm Tactics (2)

Academy Pilot x4 (48)

Funny you should say that. He can now fly big ships with out hitting things. First time we ever played with a big ship ( Han Solo ) he hit something ever turn of play right up to the moment he got shot down by Boba

While shyness in the " real world " is one thing, nobody knows him here. He could call himself Donald Duck and have an Avatar which in no way resembles him.

If he doesn't tell you, even you won't know who he is.
