Played the shuttle for the first time yesterday at store championships for a more fun list (I own the store so I didn't want to really win just play) and I went 3-1 and got 5th! Ran a buzzsaw version with a basic bounty hunter + HLC + recon spec. and 2 academy ties. Had a hard time with 3 B wings with all with FCS + HLC.

Anyway, another Store Championships are in a couple weeks at another store and I was thinking about this:

OGP + FCS + gunner + EU

Dark Curse

4 x OSP

Lots of PS2 & PS3 lists here so I wanted to shoot sooner.

Thought of this option as well:

Col Jendon + FCS + Gunner + WE + EU

Gamma Sq Pilot + Concussion

2 x OSP

1 x Academy

Any thoughts?

Packing as many ties as possible next to Jendon is preferable to having "better" ships.

Maybe this as list #3:

OGP + Vader

BH + Recon Spec

2 x Avenger Sq Pilots

I think this may work out considering my local metagame of lots of lower PS ships and lots of rerolls plus I'm getting good at playing bumper cars/action denial.

OGP + Vader + APL

OGP + FCS + Gunner + Engine Upgrade

Think Vader lambda will clog and bump (do crit thing obviously), Buzzsaw will hunt from one flank and ties from the other (try to set up a kill box in the center with Vader lambda moving slow). Not sure about the APL but wished I had them when I was playing with the BH last weekend.

Lots of lambda love around... results aren't looking strong for the great pale hipposhuttlebus!

I agree the Lambda is not doing stellar but I am commited to not running the standard tourney kill list. Swarms, falcon, double firespray etc........ The game gets boring at tournaments when you can predict how the whole thing goes I think. I'd rather go 3-1 and have a good time than win the whole thing with a cookie cutter list.

The next tourney staple list is out there we just have to find it!
