I was recently looking at all of FFG titles and it got me thinking, "is Descent their flagship title"? By that, I mean is it their number one seller when it comes to not just the base game, but expansions as well. Now, I fully understand that it has some stiff competition when you consider games like Talisman, X-Wing, Game of Thrones card game, Arkham Horror and the like. This is more of an opinion based question than anything, and one based on your own observations.
Is Descent FFG Flagship Title?
I feel like I see more X-Wing stuff than Descent stuff, based on my own personal experience. I do think Descent is one of their best selling games, though, and probably rivals X-Wing.
This is a good observation. I was actually thinking that if any game were ahead of Descent, it would probably be X-Wing.
Actually I believe their LCG are their flagship titles, Android, LOTR and their other ones.

Yes! I forgot about Android... I see that popping up all the time.
X-wing became their best-selling title of all time within just one year. There is no real comparison. X-wing is a much bigger seller than Descent.
I personally probably enjoy Descent more than X-wing. Descent though is a much tougher sale for a lot of people. It takes way more time and planning to play Descent.
the was a post about the best sellers i think it was a team convanent video at gen con last year and arkham horror came in as top or second and x-wing the other one one was on amount sold and the other was on profit i belive.
X-Wing or Android: Netrunner...
LCGs must bring lots of gold coins in FFG safe.
I think the profit margin is a lot higher on a $15 LCG card pack compared to a $15 X-Wing ship expansion.
But both sell so well that it's hard to say which is the Flagship.
Descent would also be a good guess.
IMO, Twilight Imperium would be their "flagship" title, since it was their first game. Other than that, I would think either the AGoT LCG or the Arkham series of games would be their main brands. Descent is certainly one of their most popular products, but tbh, I stumbled upon it at a convention, not by knowing it was a FF game. .
