I haven't played UFS for about a year, but me and my playgroup are starting to pick it back up but there's a few things I would like to get clarified.
1) Is there a new errata list? I noticed the one of the FFG site is about a year old (the TTR ver 1.9).
2) There's a few things about ::Kyo:: I still don't understand. I was looking at one of the earlier posts about him: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=30&efcid=5&efidt=78442
First what is considered "in play"? I'm assuming its anywhere thats not in your hand, discard pile, or removed from game. From the TTR 1.9 guide: "Card Pool: Any cards played during the current turn are played into the card pool. The card pool is considered 'in play' for card effects."
Second, I'm still confused on what is considered to "affect" cards. The last discussion said that negation doesn't count as affecting cards (something in the staging area, cardpool, or the character itself). Even with that, I still find the answer and the card text to be very vague. (Perhaps someone could post some examples?).
3) We're playing legacy, and say I had 2 Pieces of Eight out on the field. He plays an E ability, and I negate it by commiting one of my Pieces of Eight. He procedes to destroy it with Lost Memories. Can I still respond with the 2nd Pieces of Eight to negate his E ability? I figured I should be able to since he just played an E, the first Pieces of Eight got destroyed, and I can still respond to the E he played.
Thanks.
