YT9999 it was all done with plastic card cut into strips or panels and glued on. Though lots of the surface panels were etched. The goopy looking putty is just for gap filling not sculpting and is mostly sanded back. Green stuff is great for organic sculpting but not so great for hard edge sculpting.
