They're not limited. Stock is limited... To how ever much the produced, and it may be that the distributors are having issues. But FFG didn't produce a limited run of the Imperial Aces.

Played 2 games against Carnor today, backed up by Mauler, Dark Curse, and a shuttle. First game I ran super Boba with deadeye, recon, APT, and concussion, as well as Ryhmer with an APT. Carnor was a bit of a pain until he ended up in the Firesprays rear arc at range 1 with no tokens for 2 rounds.
2nd round I ran Wedge with Marksmanship, Jan with blaster/recon/crow, and Dutch with ion. Carnor was vaporized first round of shots by a range 1, Jan boosted attack from Wedge. After that with no restrictions on the focusing and spending, I made short work of the TIEs and then the shuttle.
Carnor can definitely be a pain in the butt! Flown a little differently he could have really messed up my strategy.

Rumor is that half the shipment is stuck in customs.

I ordered in early February (2/6) for half, about a month later for the others. 3 boxes ordered per shipment. So, I should be covered either way. I'm not complaining, but will be annoyed if only part of my order ships since they should not be taking more pre-orders than they can actually turn around.
Customs would have been an issue for the entire shipment from China, not from within the U.S. once the shipment has been received, so I doubt that has any additional bearing.
We'll see. They (MiniatureMarket) just moved, so they may be slow in processing orders. Since they can't be used for store championships, I don't really care if it takes another week or so, but my friends might.

I got my aces today. German version. In the German version the 'Royal Guard' was translated to 'Rote Garde' which means Red Guard ... Now in the German version of the game there are 'Red' X-Wing pilots and 'Red' Interceptor pilots ..... WTF!!!!!!!
