Tarn+ r2-d6+ opportunist

Wins/ties in the PS war with Tarn shooting last. If you're maneuvering well it's 4-5 dice with TL and Focus. Not bad out of your PS 3 xwing.

No worse than xxbb. Forces shot priority and hits back with more power than xxbb.

How do you get your TL+F? I don't see any extra actions floating around in this list.

Tarn gets a free target lock when he is attacked, I am assuming this is what Rakky meant?

Right... that would make sense. I suppose I should remember what people's special abilities are. But Biggs is keeping people from shooting him. Unless you're flying him on a flank or something. But still, people will likely be shooting at Biggs, or killing Tarn before he gets to shoot.

Tarn should be able TL/Focus the first round of engagement, Biggs is just there to make sure that he makes it through round 1 since he's your point sink. A dagger doing it's thing and him with TL/focus dogfighting endgame is pretty solid. I'd really like there to be 1 more point lying around to get 2 daggers instead but it is what it is.

You can also put him on a flank and see if anyone bites. There are few things that can take on a PS3 xwing with TL/Focus and win 1:1. If they go another direction just bring Tarn back around.

Why no Wes Janson love up in here? I think he was made to run with opportunist.

I think you'll find that Tarn usually gets killed before he gets to make much use out of his ability more than maybe one time.

That's why I put Biggs with him. I think he survives much better after the opposing force has lost a ship or 2. I'm not saying its a great build but the only talk had been greens/interceptors/black squad so I thought I'd try it.

The above Tarn set up + 3 daggers is 100pts. That's a lot of firepower. Can you get 28pts out of Tarn though?

Marksmanship isn't a great talent unless there's some synergy to be had, and Luke's is pretty weak. I'd revise as follows :

I really want to run a three interceptor list but my buddy loves blaster turrets. He's been running three of them. How would you fly against that? I was thinking basically bum rush him, try to be in range 2 of as few turrets as possible and try to hose one of the y wings in first pass. However, the one game we've played he one shot Turr Phennir when I rolled nothing on four evade dice :(

Well, use Dark Curse against your frind ... and Jax

You can't shoot at Dark Curse with blaster turrets.

I would run DC but I'm trying to field a legit triple int list.

I just thought about this same list earlier today when I was trying to figure out how to spend the last points in my list. I used a b-wing with advSensors for the first time last week and loved it. Actions before 2K turning is ballet status. Can't wait to try this list as well.
