I choose the Solution. They are about the same power level, but the Solution doesn't cost sanity. What do you think?

Not a difficult debate, in my view: the Solution is waaaaaay better.

I also think it's been specifically designed to kill Dark Young, which is a plus, since I hate those goat-legged b*stards.

Well it depends. If something is Physical Immune, obviously the Powder is the right solution.

Otherwise the Petrifying Solution is probably the best choice, especially against a physically resistant or endless monster answer.

The opportunity to stop an endless monster from re-spawning is a really strong weapon. Hence petrifying gets my vote.

Oh yeah, Petrifying solution is definitely better. It deals its full damage to all monsters except the Physically Immune, and does not cost a sanity.

Not that I would complain if I picked up a +9 magical weapon though.
