Hey guys now I havent made the deck yet but im trying to contemplate how I want it to work I want to use the new alex from warriors dreams, and have promo alex in the deck to be able to use both abilities. I was jus wondering if anyone had any ideas for alex with his facedown theme. Card recommendations would be helpful and I am building him off of all. I had this in general discussion so sorry about tht.

use a nother symbol, like water, it helps out more, but if all try silver spoon, it should help a little, kung fu training is good as well and any thing from warriors dream with alex stuff on it.

I'd actually go for Water, and forget Promo Alex (painful, but necessary). Lu Chen has the same face-down card theme (he adds them from the top of your deck, and he does it much easier than Alex), and he adds reversal capability to the table. Toss in some card drawing, which you can lift from Sogetsu, and you have a very solid-sounding deck right there.

i can definitely see where u guys are going with this, wht about dual symbol with water and all? this way i get the best of both worlds and jus try to make sure both sides are balanced.

I'm not much for dual-symbol (I hate splashing in any form, seen one too many kill turns be erased in casual play because we noticed the card pool was locked out), especially because it closes off Lu Chen's stuff to you (it runs Good, Life, Order), but if you think you can pull it off, go for it.

Definitely use the new alex themed cards, they actually help. I would go heavy throw/reversal since you have fire and water as resource symbols, also remember that his ability is intact for the whole turn, i've made the mistake of only using his ability for one attack haha. Like the poster before me said, splash in some card drawing and you should be set. BTW, baiting someone into a huge hyper bomb will make your day infinitely better.
