My OCD issues dealing with ship storage stems from my last case. It was good, for a while, but then I out grew it. I do not want to out grow another case system.

So my criteria for a set up would need to reduce the risk of...

1) running out of space.

when you fill a box you just clamp on another box

2) too small to fit every size ship.

these cases should have no issue carrying Capital Ships

3) leaving stuff behind.

I hate getting somewhere and realizing that I have forgotten something

I know I do not need to have all my ships in the same case or with me always. But if I have everything in one location, in a case that I can carry in one hand this makes me feel better. These are not perfect cases but they help ease the anxiety for forgetting something or the trauma of running out of room.

I also have the same case as rockfist, and it works great i have some extra room so if you have any ships that don't fit well (in my case the HWK) you can keep them in there blisters.

The way I have mine setup, I can easily and quickly assemble all the ships I need.

I apologize if these are not sorted out perfectly, but it should give you a general idea of the storage capacity of the case.

If you have OCD how in earth did you manage to get your brain to agree with your current setup??

They are miniatures , not models. Models have to be assembled and/or painted, these do not. Please get your facts straight before my head explodes.

Go to Wal-Mart buy a Plano 732 tackle box and be done with it. I had mine in the clamshells for the longest time. Now that the ships are easy to find and not going on eBay for rediculous amounts I see no point in storing them as if they were glass. I got everything listed in my sig along with all cards, templates, and dials in this. I did move all but 9 small and 5 large stands into storage cause 8 and 4 are the most your every going to field in 100 points. If I need them for a epic huge game then I know where they are. The box was like $50 and I still have room for my 4 Imp Aces, 8 Z-95s, 3 E-Wings, 3 Defenders, and 3 Phantoms on order.

Baby steps help break OCD....trust me I know!
