I know there are plenty of lists like this, but seeing as Imperial Aces is almost upon us, I can now get serious about using them in a list!
Here will be my first:

OGP + Darth Vader (or 2 AP when the Doom Shuttle fails me YET AGAIN)
I think that RGP is going to be a great addition to the glorious Imperial Army. That cost and PS 6 just fit in so well.
I think you need to have at least one TIE/x1 in every squad you fly phil, since after all that's your avatar. As such, I would recommend:
RGP w/ PTL
RGP w/ PTL
Tempest w/ concussion
Bahah, as such, I have never flown the Tie Advanced.

Probably run this first:
Royal Guard, PTL x 2
Saber, Opportunist x 2
That way, all ships will be used in their native habitat and colors.
Here's a 789 list that should be fun:
Soontir Fel
+Push the Limit
Carnor Jax
+Push the Limit
Kath Scarlet
+Recon Specialist
They will likely focus on Scarlet, who can spend focus on attack and defense, while Soontir and Carnor flank. Soontir does a lot of damage while Carnor helps and denies tokens, both from behind.
