There are some that play at a comic shop around the block but they more then just X-wing, and its on FNM(Friday night magic) and hoping that i could find a group that plays on another night.

Borderlands Comics and Games (mostly) and Boardwalk in Greenville. Both places have Facebook pages.

I just started playing X-Wing, and I'm in Spartanburg. Looking for a partner to learn from.

Jud, I would encourage you to join the Facebook group as well. If you don't mind coming out to Greenville we have a great community.

In fact, we are doing a casual team version of epic next Thursday. There are a number of newer players involved so you wouldn't be out of place if you wanted to join! Each player is going to run their own 100 point list on a large play area and coordinate with team members against the opposing faction. I'm not sure how new you are but we could probably scare up ships if you need some reinforcements to get up to 100 points or want to try something new.
