I can bring back Chaos Flare Juli!
Don't. It's still a very unviable deck.

Hatman.......shaddup!
Wasn't saying Tower was better, just that it had other utilities. Keep in mind that there is no reason you couldnt run both. If you can utlilize the terrain ability on Tower its very much worth considereing as anti rejection 5-8. Also keep in mind a lot of times canceling rejection or battle prowless will be your kill shot, so destroying versus cancel wont really matter. Also some support wants you to have less cards in the staging area (nightmare) so destroy may be a better compliment.

You do know I can't edit my sig now otherwise it'd be up to 5.
So much better than the old Morrigan anti-life gain cards. Nice catch.

This card is great for the fact it stops chester, rejection and cards alike but i also agree the art.. scares me.to say the least. im not the only one, everyone on my team all took a double take when we saw the art first and where all like wtf?!!!. now we all kind of just block the image from our minds. anyway tower of souls is like the darkstalkers promo to absurd. im just glad to see life getting some love since it is my fav symbol. life is kind of all over the place though. i think it is trying to do to much at the moment and if they make life the main symbol of a set again i would like for it to settle around more of just one or two deck ideas.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned that this card also stops Alex's card draw ability. The best reason to at least sideboard it besides Chester's.
It also helps against Sakura, because we all know that her life-gain enhance is really what makes her good.
v-good, albeit situational card. Not good against order (unless they are relying on rejection as well).
Had 3 in my deck at PotM. Actually, Jeremy Ray kept putting this into my area with Olcadons becuase it had 'nil' effect on him.
So, although great against Chester's and all other life gain, it is otherwise very useless. Use sparingly and with Olcadon's defense (goes without saying).

Honestly, being able to push through Chester without sacrificing Chester for All makes this a pretty decent card. Although never run it outside of Ivy.

No less akward then Frantic Search (For Clothes).
Void has 0 Answers to Chesters, Rejection, and Life Gain. I would say that this is a must in any Void deck or Sideboard.
Void has no memories for rejection and any enhance life gain, preventing the curse for responses, air force base for second copies of anything, and it has a bunch of blanking effects for chesters now (see action card) as well as 'you can't play named card during enhance step' stuff. Do I even need to mention Chun-li, she has void and is officially an answer to pretty much anything ^^
What would you consider an 'answer' to the named cards that other symbols apparantly have a better time with in comparison to void?
<note that I agree it is a strong card for pretty much all of the symbols on the card, just that it is situational becuase a) not everyone runs rejection or life gain, and b) not everyone runs chester's> it also is auspiciously missing any sort of block (albeit so are most of the foundations in set 12) but meh>

If both effects weren't commits we'd be in win territory.
Hmm must have not been thinking clearly if I forgot No Memories. I guess I was just thinking along the lines of anti damage reduction rather than E: negating. Preventing the curse I am not a fan of at all. I like it in some decks but I just really hate running anything below a 4 check that is not an attack(and yeah it has an attack side but in void it does nothing because Void has little to no momentum gain >_>).
I'm not sure it stops Alex's card draw, since you choose which ability you want-either the vitality gain or drawing cards.
I'd need a rules arbiter to confirm/deny.
This thing does remind me of how stuff like MAC and Tough Outer Shell stops BRT.
Yeah it would stop Alex I am pretty usre. Red Lotus negates Amy's before you get to choose so I don't see how this would be any different. forgot about Alex XD

I wasn't aware that Lotus ate up Amy's. If that is the case, then it would certainly hold true for this situation as well. Thank you, Sol =)

It's all due to the way the game works (and I just learned that, but it does make sense).
You must negate the ability when the ability is played. The choice happens AFTER. Your opponent plays an ability that WOULD do something that the response can prevent : It doesn't mean that is what he will pick. So long as the response does not prevent the ability's effects, but just outright negates the ability, it must be activated as cost is paid.

TOS doesn't stop BRT. Just the draw. BRT will basically be "R Commit: Before your opponent makes a control check, that check becomes a 0."
