I am with you though on how it is not an easy ship to pilot and it has a very unforgiving risk/reward ratio. I prefer to use 1-2 Interceptors as flankers in a list that has other ships to absorb some of the aggro away from them.

You're talking about 4 ships vs 1. Not to mention a 100 pt list vs a single falcon. Even pts, a falcon vs a cepter, the falcon has the advantage.360 degree turret neutralizes the advantage of maneuverability that the cepters are built upon. Can a cepter win? Absolutely. But generally speaking the falcon has the advantage. Especially Han.

I agree 1 on 1 falcon has advantage. But a good intercepter player will focus on the falcon, han or no han you are not surviving 2-3 rounds of attacks from 4 interceptors.Its like when i played mechwarrior 3 on pc. Everyone hated missile boats, complained about not being able to beat them.I figured out if you got up in the mechs face the missiles wouldnt hig you.Point is, everything has a weekness. And the falcons is concentrated fire.

I was a galaxy commander in clan goliath scorpion.

Once i learned how to lag-shoot i could take out any enemy mech 1 on 1.

But that was back before dsl, again (insert old man joke )

But living out in the country i couldnt play once highspeed internet started coming out.

Still the fastest tjing i can get out here is satalite, but upload sucks and still cant game.
