By now, I'm sure everyone knows about afewmaneuvers, having a section on all published card. Did anyone see the R2-D2 card on there. His stuff is usually 100% accurate.

My question is does this replace the previous R2-D2 card or can you either to use?.

The new card is a crew upgrade. It comes with Tantive IV. Doesn't replace the astromech card.

Are you talking about the R2D2 crew card? You can still use either one when it comes out, you just can't use both because of uniqueness.

As was previously mentioned it is a crew upgrade and not an astromech droid therefore it can't be used on an X-Wing or Y-Wing. The currently Rebel ships that could use it are the YT-1300 and HWK-290. It will be able to be used with the Transport and Tantive IV as well but again like someone mentioned, being unique means you can only use 1 or the other in your list.
