Vader's uber maneuverability (and the fact that he shoots first) makes it easier for the bomber to block.
That Xwing could move into a pretty nice position this turn. I'd even consider K-turning with the A wing to try and get Vader in a pincer.

I too thought he was going to K-turn the A-wing... He thought Gaven was going to survive last round... lol

With only 1 hull, the A-wing bravely turns to joust with Vader and the Bomber. He survives Vader's attack, but not the Bomber's. The Empire WINS!

Thanks all for the kind words. I just got back from lunch (and doing some honey-dews) and was greeted by these posts! I'll do this again the next time I have an afternoon game.
So, after reading yet another endless string of how worthless or wrong certain builds are; I'm announcing my next live, play by play, build:
This list is so "wrong" it hurts. It has a "cost inefficient" A-wing that will be "worthless" later in the game. - on trick pony
It has a named Y-wing that WAAAAAAAAAY too many points have been spent on.
Then, to round it all out, a very expensive HWK.
Oh, and it's only three ships. Not sure when I'll be running it, but I'm guessing Tuesday morning.
