The Rabid Niners (99 points total)

• 31 points: Wedge with Swarm Tactics
• 36 points: Ten Numb with Marksmanship & Fire Control System
• 32 points: Ibitsam with Swarm Tactics & Fire Control System

The plan/concept:

99 points for initiative bid even against other PS 9 "heavy" lists

Trying to slowly advance the group in formation towards the opponent before unleashing the hopefully fierce Alpha Strike

1) Depending on positioning, possibly stressing Ibitsam for triggering ability by a red maneuver. Must make sure that Ten may/can take Marksmanship as Action and keep Wedge within Range 1 of Ibitsam while also being able to shoot with Wedge

2) Start of Combat Phase: Wedge Swarms Ibitsam to PS9 and Ibitsam Swarms Ten Numb to PS9 also.

3) Combat Phase: All 3 shoots with PS9, so Wedge and Ibitsam tries to strip Focus/Evades/Shields before volleying Ten Numb in with a Marksmanship shot

4) In the next round both B-wings will have a TL and hopefully they will have to fly through some debris

Maybe it's worth changing Ibitsams Fire Control System for Adv. Sensors: Should make an even more powerfull Alpha Strike and also more power in a subsequent round (Adv. Sensor action prior to Koiogran)

Anyways, just an idea :-)

I'd give Ibtisam Push the Limit instead of Swarm Tactics. That way you can "force" the Stress onto Ibtisam and get an extra action while activating her ability.

Having Ten stay at PS 8 isn't bad (since you want him to shoot last of your ships anyway).

Nice Squad. What I especially like is, that even if you cannot the Swarm-Tactic-hopping work, you still got PS's between 6 and 9, which will be sufficient against some squads. For example, if you face a Howlrunner Swarm, and manage to seize initiative, you can separate Ten a little without any consequences.

Ibti can't use Swarm tactics in this list, she is PS6, you would need it on Ten, which displaces marksmanship, which I wouldn't do.

I'd drop it in favor of upgrading both FCS too Advanced Sensors. That still grants you 9,9,8

I believe that you're in the wrong on that point:

Since Wedge Swarms Ibitsam up first, so now Ibitsam is to regarded as de facto having PS9. And THEN Ibitsam may totally legitimately use ST to bump Ten Numb up to PS9 also.

Anyone disagree??
