And if not would you stat one up as a demon engine?
Are there stats for the Golden Ships of Q'sal anywhere?
I think a daemon engine would mean no-one could fly in it.
I was just thinking the other day would love to have a radical Rogue Trader flying around in one of those things.
Would love to know if anyone has any house rules for them or if they are located somewhere. A lot of Qsal's technology with its blending of advanced science and warp technology seems really cool.
There's no stats for them at this time, or for any ships, for those I usually go to Rogue Trader.
These ships would also fall to bits outside of a warp-reality overlay such as the Vortex... at least after some time.
Other than that, put on the invention time goggles and go to town
I've seen no stats for them, though they would be interesting. BC doesn't have any voidship stats, only RT has those.
The more I read about Q'Sal "technology" the more I think it isn't technology at all. Q'Sal is all sorcery all the time. Where the adeptus mechanicus would use a generatorium, Q'Sal uses a block of stone daubed with blasphemous runes, infused with daemonic essence, and quenched in the blood of the innocent. They're really making magic items, 40K style, not using tech of any sort.
As for the golden ships, they are described as very small and very agile. I'd suggest starting with the Yu'Vath void wasp (published in the RT GM's screen) and use that as a baseline. A couple of tweaks to change it from Yu'Vath 'manufacture' to Tzeentch 'manufacture' and you're there.
Cheers,
