So I decided to take a stab at the flying turtle! [Pic Heavy]

That's right it's the Ghtroc 720. Here you guys go tell me what you think. I wanted to go with the description in the Edge of the Empire Enter the Unknown source book. It's essentially supposed to be similar to the YT series, but it's main setback was it's weaker weapons. However it is well armored.

Ah I remember the space turtle from the WEG RPG days. Do you have a model of the freighter?

Sadly I do not. Maybe someone with proper modeling skills could make us one. I would really love a to scale Ghtroc 720 mini. I'd probably buy two for myself and one for a buddy of mine in my gaming group who loves the 720.

Ohhh bummer.

Back to the cards 9 hull is too high it shouldn't be tougher than the Falcon.

If you read the description in the book it says, "Although heavily armored, the 720 class is lightly armed. Equipped with a single turret-mounted twin light laser cannon, the weak armament is considered the most glaring deficiency in an otherwise well-constructed ship." And it's technically not tougher than the Falcon. The Falcon has 5 shields and 8 hull (for a total of 13 hits). The Ghtroc 720 has 3 shields and 9 hull (total of 12). It's technically weaker it's armor is just slightly a little better. That's also the reason I gave it a 2 damage turret instead of a 3.

It looks good, other than the white stop maneuver. With that, the thing never needs to move... ever... I'd make that red, otherwise it's awesome

I agree with Erultho, a white 0 maneuver is too powerful a move. Especially with something that has a turrent for its primary weapon. Other than that it looks like a pretty solid ship to me :)

Looks cool. I agree on the White Zero move being to powerful, beyond that it looks like a solid ship.

If I may ask, how did you create the base template?

I thought it was going to be this thing:

I have to admit to being a bit disappointed. I was envisioning something like A'Tuin.

A white zero it so good although maybe it makes it "worth it" otherwise I see that base model as WAY overpriced. Then again maybe not as it has a LOT of hull. Comparing it to the ORS you have +1 PS (+1 point?) +3 hull (+9 points based on hull upgrade price) and -1 shield (-4 points based on Shield Upgrade cost) which says this should be +6 over the ORS or 33 points. When you've got it priced at 38 points I think it is high even with a white stop considering it gives up the hard 1 turns.

I may like a Ghtroc freighter but I'm not a fan of those stats. Unless there is another turret option I don't see any attraction to using a blaster turret which means an Ion Turret which is pricy considering the big advantage it would give is ionization.

I'd find it odd that a ship like that could sit still indefinitely yet not make sharp slow speed turns. If it can stop I'd think it could also turn in place.

Ok guys so after reading everyone's thoughts I decided to change a few things. The 0 move is now a red maneuver, and I dropped the price of both ships by six points. Here's the updated cards.

I'm also toying with the idea of switching the missile upgrade. I'm thinking of either switching it to another turret or maybe a cannon. What do you all think?

Look at the link in the first reply in here. It's extremely easy to use.
