I'm at my local gaming store atm. Owner just got off the phone to the distributor. His order of Aces is shipping to the store right now, he should have them in stock t this Friday, but not allowed to sell them until March 14th. That is what he told me only moments ago.

I was under the impression FFG doesn't do that sort of restriction. They believe customers should have product as soon as it's available and that's why they don't have release dates which arbitrarily delay when available ... At least that's what I remember their CEO saying at last in flight review.

Well we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

LGS here in Copenhagen, Denmark just got off the phone with their delivery company (Enigma) and was told that their orders for Imperial Aces was placed with expected/scheduled delivery no later than Friday the 14th of March. And also not allowed to start selling before that day. So exact same info as the OP. On another continent, well actually on the opposite side of the Earth. So increasingly promising signs for the validity IMO

I am not going to put any more thought into this until I walking in my local gaming shop and it's siting there.

waiting over 3 months.. yeah not holding my breath here. We will get them when they come out! =)

I don't think the point is to delay them with an arbitrary release date but instead to create a level playing field for vendors where everyone has them at the same time. These hold for sale dates are common practice in the retail industry

Well, we'll see I guess. Shop owner is hoping to have them in shop today. If he does get them today, I'll be sure to post about it.

To be fair the initial announcement said 4th quarter but it wasn't that long after that they pushed it back to 1st quarter and they are evidently going to deliver on that. Obviously the approximate 6 month window from announcement to final delivery has people way over anxious.

Think they need to change the definition of on tbe boat from 4-6 weeks, to 4- whenever the **** things arrive.
