Well what i tryed to say was im working towards having enough TIE fighters to fill a destroyer. Which is 72, so im halfway thete now

One starfighter wing! nice! ha ha

I've been waiting for them (Imperial Aces) since the announcement as well. I will get at least 4 copies (for 4 Royal guards and 4 181st).

However, I'm even more excited about the Tie Defender... I might get even more of them... have been dreaming about having a squadron of Tie Defenders...

Anyway, everything what I said can be summed up in 2 words:

All you slow pokes, I already have two 181st aces... painted them myself.. lol... the blood stripe is only for 10 kills.. an earned achievement..

With electronic comunication, gps, and all that other fancy stuff. Cant they show us on a map where this boat is? If its being processed at the dock.

My LGS didn't know anything about release dates and didn't know anything about the 7th. I asked him today, and he is usually on top of these things.

I sense that there are many Sith on this forum, because Jedi have more patience.

I'm trying to hold on, but I preordered my two boxes when they were first announced. . I think I've been pretty patient, all things considered.

I guess you're right. I just checked my MiniMarket order, and it is in "Processing Pre-Order" status. If I recall correctly, that's the status of an order that could ship Soon™!

I was all over this forum too a while ago...but I got tired of waiting for product and got even more tired of the list pimps.

Right now I am playing Star Blazers and Star Trek until FFG gets theses new models IN AN ONLINE SHOP FOR REAL...

F*#% the dumb stuff ...it is ALL just noise.

All that matters is what we do with our time, our love, and our money.

I wonder if they are deliberately holding these back because the transport wont be ready for awhile. That way they have a steady set of releases so we buy aces. Then a month or so the transport lands. Then tantive. Then wave 4.

That way we are constantly buying. But of course they will release info on wave 5 by the time all of these hit stores so we are all droolling over that.

Man, its going to be fun playing all these games in the retirement home.

I posted that same info in this thread , and basically got called a liar. I was standing right infront of my friend and store owner at the time he got the phone call. We'll all see I guess come the 14th (well, I'll see today if the shops order arrives).

Yup. Read your post and supported/posted in that thread too. I'm not (and neither is you) CLAIMING this to be an absolute certain thing, but just like you I have absolutely no reason to suspect that my LGS guy would be lying to my face. But some people in here will just be haters no matter what :-)

Nice deal. Our meta is quite ridiculously small here, so I wasn't able to barter such a deal for the local players. (Small town, small store, and relatively new store on top of that). Still... I can't wait to get these bad boys. Our store is holding a SC/Tourney on the 29th March (I have seen the kit for it already - very nice prize selection). I just wonder if X-wing is like the LCG in as mush as the Aces will be legal for use? LCG all cards are legal for tourney use from the moment they are released [in NA] and it's TO's decision outside of NA. If the same rules apply, I might be fielding said Aces in our SC/Tourney. *fingers crossed*

Yeah, we are sorta blessed in regards to the potential recruiting basis. I'm located in the our capital and there's a good group, not too large, not too small and we enjoy great support from our LGS's (plural).

Have you ever played X-Wing on vassal by any chance? Would be happy to play of the time schedule can be matched up.

In regards to Imp Aces being legal for the SC: I am the co-TO for one of the SC here on April 6th (have been granted "permission" to postpone it a bit) and I've said that we will be running it "strictly" by the FFG Tournament Rules, so unless it is updated before the SC date then they won't be allowed. But they will likely be okay for Regionals etc.

Right now things are really exciting: we've played a Season 2/3 tourney a couple of weeks ago, on Sat I'll be heading to Sweden for a SW LCG SC in Malmö, Sunday will be X-Wing SC in Odense, Denmark, then probably SC in either LCG or X-Wing the 2 following weekends and so on ;-) Ahhhh, the joys and "burdens" of being a SW game geek ;-)

Man, although tbe store is almost 90 minutes away, they sell expansion packs for 10.99, and large ships for 22.99.

Which is what im paying for my 4 aces packs

To be fair, I was quoted and did quote the 14th (Friday in Australia)... 17th being a Monday. I hope I'm allowed to purchase them on the 14th... *fingers crossed*. But yeah, over-all... it's nice to be in the right. Guarantee the person who called me a liar will never apologise... meh, such is the way of the faceless internet.
