As of yesterday it has been 6 weeks.

Anyone seen this boat?

With electronic comunication, gps, and all that other fancy stuff. Cant they show us on a map where this boat is? If its being processed at the dock.

Im just tired of waiting. Really want to woop some people with these ships.

Interest tends to get feral as the release date approaches.

Amazon lists March 7 as the release date.

I've been watching my order status at MiniMarket all week.

It's probably sitting in a dock waiting for U.S. customs to clear it.

Give it a few days, we'll see if Amazon is right or not.

Yup, it takes weeks to print from different fabricators, weeks to box, weeks on the boat from wherever it came from, potentially weeks in customs to check every single case, then it gets shipped to the FFG warehouses, who separates it and ships it to whole sale distributors, who ship it to retail stores. Long, slow process, but hopefully we're close!

Since I will have to wait for mine to ship from the US once it comes out, I will still have to wait an extra two weeks or so beyond most of you.

you got it man, ever since they announced these ive been over exited about them, i have 4 packs on pre-order.

then FFG announces the transport is close now too, i want that.

then wave 4!!!!!! i needed to change my pants when i saw the ships in that wave, got 4 of each on pre-order.

then the blockade runner, they are killing me man.

im a star wars nut, not the biggest star wars geek, but im up there. and for them to release a star wars game that not only looks cool, but is actually more fun to play than a video game has me stoked. if my wife knew how much money ive been throwing at this game she would @#$@ing kill me.

they just keep on announcing more and more cool stuff, but nothing has landed yet, thats what is frustrating. just get one of these things to us already!!!!!!!

Even if they came off the boat today, that is 7-10 days for FFG to process them and get them shipped to the distributors, a day or two for them to arrive at the distributors, another few days for the distributors to process all their orders then another day or two for them to actually arrive at the retailers, and if you ordered online, another 3-4 days for the online retailer to process all their orders and get them shipped to you.

So, basically, a realistic expectation at this point is probably March 20th, give or take a few days. If it gets to be April and they still haven't hit the stores, THEN there might be some cause to complain.

I not complaining yet, just asking.

I really apreciate companies who put out a quality product, just wish they could do it faster.

Obviously the boat is a row boat.

Well really guys, I mean the MOLDS were already made. The assembly line for the Interceptor was already established. It's ridiculous that it has taken so long. The Tantive IV I can understand, but Aces? Should have been months ago!

It can usually be assumed that customs is the problem, not FFG. I've dealt professionally with the sale of imported product over a number of years and customs seemingly has no particular problem sitting on product for weeks or months without any reason. It's infuriating as an importer, as a retailer, and as a consumer.

As I explained back up in post 9, the Mar 7 date is now basically impossible. Unless they have actually been off the boat for a week or two already and FFG just haven't updated the listing (entirely possible) then there is no way they can get to stores in the next 3 days

There have been multiple reports from different retailers in Australia (in different states) that they have been told by the distributor, that they (the distributor) has had the Aces in stock for at least a week so far. The distributors are just waiting on the okay from FFG to release them to the retailers. I personally was told this info by my friend, and LGS owner, last Wednesday (a week ago). If the items have been shipped say yesterday (Tuesday in Aus), there's every chance they could be in store by the 7th/8th (Friday/Saturday in Aus).

I'm not holding my breath, but I will be keeping my fingers crossed (metaphorically).

Can y'all take the extra effort and deliver these right to my front door. It would save me the hour and 20 minute drive to the nearest store that sells xwing. Where i have 4 on pre order.

Really not kidding, at a certain point it has to be cheaper and more effecient to just make this stuff in the states. I mean between the lag time and taxes maybe it's getting to a point where over seas production isn't automatically the answer. I mean honestly I would not mind paying a little more if that's what it took for FFG (God Bless you guys and you are awesome) to start making miniatures here. Just try it on one expansion and see what happens. Make a promotional deal about it. Track down the rights to Spaceballs and make some goofy Space Winnebego. I hate to say it but I would buy it...
