Help picking Squad A-E

I am looking for some constructive criticism to help modify my squadron. This past weekend I flew 4 ships (2 X-wings and 2 B-wings) and was happy, but now I want to tweak it. I want to try 2 B-wings with a Y-wing but I can not make up my mind about which combo.

ABD would be the first three I would look at. You're gimping your damage too much by having the two Y wings imo. From there, D is silly having R5-D8 on him. I'm assuming you don't have AdvS or what to use FCS, and that's why it's the only choice for systems upgrade on the Bs. Squad B is going to be useless once Garven dies. So, squad A it is then. I would suggest having your Y wing shoot last. That way you can pull tokens off with the others and have a better chance of having the ion go through. Also, if it's not a PS4 opponent, keep in mind that a dead opponent is better than an ionized opponent, you're either preventing it from shooting this turn or next turn. So feel free to use the ion cannon turret to kill a 1hp person.

I had real good luck with Fire Control and it works great for how I play. This past weekend my X-wing went down fast so I wanted to try a Y-wing to help give stamina and the 360 option.

I like D. Any chance you can drop the R5 unit and pick up an Engine Upgrade? It would help with maneuverability of a sluggish ship, allowing you to get into or out of range a bit more successfully, and help with the sluggish cornering capacity of the Ywing.

Go with D, but drop R5-K6 and upgrade the 2 Fire Control Systems to Advanced Sensors. The free target lock seems better until you've played with each of them several times. A B-wing with Advanced Sensors NEVER hits asteroids, and despite of not being very fast, you can always line up a shot. It is also super-useful to focus or target lock and THEN K-turn, or barrel roll and K-turn so as to again, miss every asteroid on the table.

Have you thought about this build? Similar to Build D, but I think this has longer survivability.

Biggs + R2D2

Gold + Ion Turret

Blue + FCS x 2

Biggs would keep the B-Wings alive longer, and the Gold would flank and ionize the opponent.
