Imperial Assault Transport?

By R22, in X-Wing

EDIT: I placed the below in the Big Imperial Ships thread since it already exists and is appropriate, didn't see it when I posted this. We can collectively let this thread die now. Or post your favorite holiday recipe here to confuse people.

With the awkward situation of the usually dominant Imperials having ships too big for XWM and the strapped Rebels now having larger ships, would something like the ATR Assault Transport work for the Imperials? It would give the Imps a heavy ship to capture Rebel ships, set up tons of scenarios, and fit on the board. Thoughts?

(I echo previous support for the Lancer as a comprorable Imp ship to the CR90, fits the fluff as an Imp counter to Rebel starfighters, and is size appropriate. Though I think the Assassin-class Corvette would make a good Imperial ship as well since it's an updated version of the CR90, keeping with the theme of Imperials getting the newer toys/ships/superweapons.

The problem with the ATR Assault Transport is that it looks like something a four year old would draw.

The problem with the Lancer is that it looks like a dildo with fins.

Neither make for an inspiring model that fans will want to rush out and purchase. The Lancer would also confuse any wives/girlfriends as to why their husbands/boyfriends are going out to buy flying dildoes.

Do we now have 3 threads going that are discussing what huge ship the imperials might get?

Yep, here are the other two, for those who are curious. Both active within the past week

In my defense I tried to kill this thread with the first line. But, yes. Sorry!

My Mom makes homemade chocolate covered marshmallows for Christmas. Home made marshmallows. Basically kayro syrup and sugar baked in a pan and then cut into cubes with scissors. Everyone raves about them.
