Im going to be the kill joy. We actually don't know the basics. We are missing half the data required to even speculate on if the Z can keep up with a TIEs maneuvering. Interesting idea and I can see merit in it, but till we know more, there isn't much to speculate on that hasn't been asked/thought of on multiple threads already.
Edge would go to the Tie's I think. That 3 def vs 2 attack will pay off.
A list I am contemplating once we see what the Z's can do is
ORS +APL
Rebel operative + ion
Z+ Assault
Z+cluster
Z+concusion
Granted thats based on the Z's having a half decent dial
I am not sure I would run Z's without missiles.

I've been using an Xwing dial with the turns just moved down 1 speed and its great. If its anywhere close to that it's going to be real interesting.

So it's 12 points for 2 at 2 ev 2 hall 2 shield vs the tie is 12 for 2 at 3 ev 3 hall 0 shield
Does having 1 more damage cancel out 1 more ev dice. Not sure what the odds for rolling is all I know is 1 hour will be too short to find out

if I was not saving my penny's for 8 z95s (3 of ever wave 4 other ship, the transport and capital ship)I might.
You could use a Firespray dial instead for the extras, and ignore the 3 K-turn. Everything else should be the same.

I have 5 x-wings (look at my auto signature) I was more saying I did not want to buy a 6th. Even if tourneys get bumped to 125 I am good.
