Is Hex considered a condition?

Can you hex Ariad when she is in her ritual ? Because quest says that Ariad is immune to conditions when making her ritual.

I believe that hex is a condition since my monster has a token that corresponds the Hex. Otherwise what is Hex if it isnt a condition ?

Hex is like infect, it is not a condition. The conditions are the effects which have condition cards, like poison or disease. Condition is a binary status, like poisoned or not poisoned. Hex is not binary: one can have multiple hex tokens.

Everything that is a condition is specifically listed as a condition. (And also comes with a condition card). Hex doesn't fit either of these.
