I'm just wondering if anyone has replaced the FFG bases/mounting pegs with 3rd party stuffs.

The Likto stands don't look like much use and the CorSec one don't have slots for the numbers, a shame as I really like the metal stands they make, I got some for my Dystopian Wars flyers. With the CorSec bases you need to use the hole set as they screw together meaning I'd probably need to pull off the plastic peg mount on the bottom of my X-wings etc and replace that with the CorSec mount.

Another option I came across is the magnetic adapter that Ninja Magic make:

I really like the idea of a flat base for my X-wing mini's as I get the feeling it would make the mini's much more stable.

Also the biggest complaint I have with FFG bases is the edges are not straight 90' angles making measurement dodgy at times. I'm sure many of you lot have had those time when your trying to decide if your target is at range x or y and the angle on the sides of the base just makes that decision tricky..... "Is he just in range or just out gah!"
