Lets Talk Ordnance.

I have to disagree with your statement on concussion missiles.

When ran with Captain jonus, as long as you have a target lock/focus you are pretty much guaranteed 4 hits. Since only 3/4 need to have a hit/crit/focus icon. They are a great way to get rid of stealth device or alpha strike.

I would say that concussion missiles are the best missiles/torp at 4 points.

Cluster missiles are too random and hard to use effectively on the second shot, proton torps use one of your Focus for a crit, which leaves your blanks to stay blanks.

My favorite pilot to use Proton Torpedoes with is Horton Salm. I've been running him with Jan Ors to give him a 5-dice attack that he can reroll blanks on. It's been pretty impressive. I wish I could give him a Focus to use, too, but the hoops I'd have to jump through make it impractical for my current build. I just roll the dice and hope for the best. The fact that the Proton Torpedoes allow one [focus] to turn into one [crit] is invaluable against TIE fighters and TIE interceptors.

The best part is that Jan's ability means that after the torps are gone, Horton is rolling 3 dice with his primary weapons at range 2, which makes his pilot ability very effective.

My wave 1 squad had Wedge carrying Proton Torpedoes, too, but not being able to change/reroll blanks has meant several whiffed shots. Horton is much more reliable.

Fun list and seeing 6 dice being rolled at you from a jan powered advanced torp is scary and can be a day ruiner. Horton getting 2 5 dice jan boosted protons with rerolls is no joke either!

I will update this with the new Missiles, etc. Once they are released and we have some playtest feedback. Otherwise it's all pure speculation.

As for current stuff I will update soon, still gathering some feedback from local playhouses as well. I'm at two tournaments this weekend so will update after those.

The question that must be asked: Do you include the Chardaan Refit? It is a Missile upgrade.

Silly question. It is not ordnance. It just happens to occupy the Missile slot.
